It’s completely normal to feel unsure or even scared about beginning therapy. Many people worry about what to say, how much to share, or what the process will feel like. The first step can be the hardest—but you don’t have to go through it alone. In our sessions, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe for you. You are always in control of what and when you share.

The first session is about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to work on, and any questions you may have. You are always in control of what you share—we will go at your pace. Many clients find that even the first session brings a sense of relief in having a safe, non-judgmental space to begin. -
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. My fee is $140 per session. Unfortunately, OHIP does not cover psychotherapy, but many extended health insurance plans include coverage for Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying). I recommend checking your plan to confirm your coverage. Receipts are always provided, allowing you to submit claims to your insurance provider.
